Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How long does therapy OR COachiNG last?
Both therapy and coaching are highly individualized processes. Duration depends on each individual’s goals and where they are currently on their journey to healing and transformation. We will discuss goals, expected outcomes, and create a contract and strategy during our first sessions. I see clients for both short-term and long-term therapy. All clients start on a weekly basis in order to deepen the work and build trust as well as momentum for genuine healing. Short-term therapy requires a minimum commitment of 12 weekly session.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
I accept payment through Credit/Debit Card, Bank Transfer, Stripe, and PayPal.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I do not accept insurance. I can not provide super bills for out-of-network reimbursement (for the US) as I am currently based in Greece. I’m co-founder of Trauma2Therapy, an organization hosting and facilitating training opportunities, workshops, and retreats in Greece with world-renowned pioneering trauma experts such as Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, author of “The Body Keeps the Score.”
HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
I’m currently accepting new clients for individual online therapy or coaching sessions. If you’re ready to commit to deep transformational trauma work and unlock your full potential, please take the time to fill out this contact form thoroughly. I offer a free 15-minute video consultation to meet, discuss, and see if this is a good fit. All information will be kept strictly confidential. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder for my response.
WHAT KIND OF CLIENTS DO YOU TYPICALLY WORK WITH?
I work with clients who are passionate professionals, leaders, and entrepreneurs committed to getting to the root cause of their suffering and creating deep, rich, and meaningful lives. My clients are high achievers who wake up each morning, put on their brave face, and chase joy and fulfillment on the outside. They have on the outside a life worthy of respect and admiration but on the inside an inner life that is depleted, dissociated, and disconnected from their joy and aliveness. They’ve ticked off many of the boxes of their “life checklist” only to discover they feel more empty, lost, and alone than ever. Secretly they’re knee-deep in the trenches fighting ongoing battles with their own minds and bodies. I call this the Walking Wounded Tribe (WWT).
You know you’re a member if being in your mind and body is like living in a war zone. You wish for more than anything to be at peace yet you also yearn to feel alive. Not just the adrenaline rush of the fight to survive or achieve or the high of the “hedonistic treadmill”—but true vitality. You are a natural chameleon adapting to any situation or relationship. You know how to put on a brave face but it’s exhausting and leaves you feeling like an imposter. You wonder what it would be like to be fully present and authentic in your relationships knowing you are enough—you belong just as you are. You live in a perpetual state of internal conflict and misalignment. You desperately need your insides to match your outsides. You are highly intellectual, having a strong analytical mind, and live from the neck up, disconnected from your body.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN A THERAPY SESSION?
A therapy session lasts for 50 minutes. We meet at a regular day and time on a weekly basis. I customize my approach to meet you where you’re at on your journey, your season of life, and your personality style depending on your aims. Sessions can have some talk therapy elements but largely include going inside, doing meditative exercises, embodied somatic work, movement, visualization exercises, role plays, or creative, on-the-spot interventions we come up with together. I view you as an expert on your own experience and my goal is to facilitate a nurturing, self-compassionate relationship between you and the wounded parts of you carrying self-limiting beliefs.
